How to get your next WIN - Habit Tracker!
Hey Achiever!
When was the last time you got a win?
If you are at a loss or not even sure what would count as a “win” you are not alone. Most people have routines and responsibilities that keep us in a pattern of just thinking about the day to day struggles. (I am right there with you, tired mama of a 1.5 year old 🙋♀️)
But what if I told you, you can have wins everyday?
And I promise it is easier than you think. I want to help you get your next win TODAY.
Start by grabbing my monthly Habit Tracker and follow these 5 simple steps:
Step 1 - Read the list of habits to get some ideas.
Step 2 - Write 3-6 simple habits you want to work on this month on the Daily Wins line and in the habit boxes below the tracker.
Step 3 - Decide how often you are aiming to do this habit (it does NOT need to be everyday!) Write the frequency in the habit box.
Step 4 - Write your WHY. Why is this habit important to you, why do you want to be more consistent with it this month, what goal is it tied to?
Step 5 - Celebrate every day you complete the habit by checking off the dot!
See, not so hard!
You don't have to pick hard habits, pick some that you are already occasionally doing and just want to do more often! If you already read two days a week, but want to focus on reading more, set the goal/habit for 4 days a week and pick a time you know you can hit!
Habits don't have to be 7 days a week to be impactful!
If your goal is to read more, setting a realistic goal will keep you motivated which will have you reading more than if the goal was unrealistic and you stopped after missing it a couple days in a row.
How many wins are possible?
If you set 6 goals each for 7 days a week, in October there are 31 days, that's 1302 possible daily habit wins! Not even considering winning the week and winning the month. But I don't recommend setting 7 day a week goals. What I do recommend is setting a couple goals and celebrating your wins everyday.
So what about this: this month you set 4 goals averaging 4 times per week per goal (but you can always get more!) With 5 weeks in the month, that's (4x4x5) 80 daily habit wins, and if you win each week, another 20 weekly habit wins and 4 monthly habit wins. That's 104 wins if you are only hitting your minimums.
